Pakistan to organize the full tournament, world cricket’s most famous players will become a regular part of the tournament
According to news: The selection stage for PSL 5 players has been completed. The entire tournament will be held in Pakistan. The most famous players of world cricket will become regular-participants of the tournament. The draft process for The Pakistan Super League Season 5 has been completed. All PSL matches will be played in Pakistan for the first time after a 4-year wait.
The drafting ceremony of Pakistan Super League 2020 was held in the national cricket academy Lahore. Where coaching staff including chairman PCB Ehsaan Mani, managing director Wasim Khan, all franchise owners, and other officials participated.
In the first pick of the Platinum category, The Quetta Gladiators selected Jason Roy of England. Lahore Qalandars took the lead in the second pick and selected Chris Lyn of Australia. The Lahore Qalandars selected Chris Lynn in their first pick a year ago, but the aggressive Australian batsmen were out of the league due to the injury.
In the Platinum Category, Multan Sultan selected English all-rounder Moeen Ali in the third pick. While Islamabad United selected South African fast bowler Dale Steyn in the same category.

Multan Sultan selected South African Riley Rousseau in their second pick in the Platinum Category. Riley Rousseau has already participated in all editions of the Pakistan Super League but he has represented Quetta Gladiators in all the season. You will see him in action from a different side.
Islamabad United also added Colin Ingram to the team, giving Priority to South African cricketers in the second platinum category. When the diamond category started, Peshawar Zalmi took Tom Benton while Islamabad United took the services of Colin Munro, who appeared in action by the Karachi Kings last year.
Karachi Kings selected Chris Jordan, who suffered a setback from the Platinum to the diamond category, and has previously represented Peshawar Zalmi In the League.
Quetta Gladiators selected Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting, while Multan chose 27-year-old Zeeshan Ashraf, who preferred to the first wild card entry instead of Diamond Category. In the second round, Lahore Qalandars selected Ben Dunk in Silver Catagory, while Peshawar Zalmi placed Rahat Ali and Karachi Kings’ Ameed Asif. Multan Sultans made leg spinner Usman Qadir part of their team. while Quetta Gladiators selected Tim Mills and then Abdul Nasir.
Karachi Kings added Don Lawrence to their team. After which Lahore Qalandars selected the player development program’s outgoing Farzan Raja in the franchise. Peshawar-Zalmi selected Doane Pretoris and Adil Amin, Multan Sultans selected Fabien Allen and Karachi Kings took services of 28-year-old fast-bowler Ali Khan of America
In the emerging players’ category, from Pakistan Under 19 team captain Rohail Nazir was replaced by Multan Sultans. While Quetta selected Arash Ali Khan, Peshawar Zalmi, selected fast-baller Amir Khan from Sawat, Karachi Kings selected Arshad Iqbal, and Islamabad United selected Aqib Javid.
